I have gone up too fast! I have moderate AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness/ Altitude Sickness) symptoms, must be careful now. Everyone gets mild AMS
Possibility of coma & death if i get worse. cant go higher and may have to go down if it gets worse, I take a Diamox and sleep is best option. see how I feel tomorrow. My first snow though! We are high up now, 4000m.
Reach Tengboche with the large monastery where we were going to stay was 3860m. I had my first view of Everest on the way up here from Namche. It looks so far away.
we meet up with the girls we spoke to on the plane, Kirsty and Sophie and spend the next few days bumping into each other and chatting.
After lunch here we decide to go onto Pangboche, 3860m alt, to sleep.
