Well we got up early. Very early. It was still dark when we got in the car, thats how frikken early it was. Noone was in much of a mood to be excited about anything at that point, and we snapped at each other more than once on the first part of the trip. Our spirits rose with the sun however and we soon saw the signs for Disney World! Disney World Animal Kingdom! Disney World Downtown Disney! Magic Kingdom! Blizzard Beach! Hollywood Studios! Typhoon Lagoon! Epcot!

Well Shit. We weren't really prepared for the sheer number of different parks there were, there were literally 3 exits from the interstate devoted to Disney World. Abi insisted the one we wanted was Hollywood Studios. Nic said it was Magic Kingdom. Both of them started screaming directions at me and as I started heading towards Magic Kingdom something very bizarre happened - Nic and Abi simultaneously decided the other was right and started arguing again.... except in reverse. So now Abi wanted Magic Kingdom and Nic wanted Hollywood Studios.... well by then it was too late and we were headed for Magic Kingdom (which I secretly knew was the right one) and in we went. We parked pretty much at the entrance as it was 8 am on a friday and the schools were already back so there wasn't much of a crowd. As we were vacating the vehicle 2 men approached us saying they had free tickets they weren't using today as they wanted to play golf. Instantly dubious, Nic and I went along with it but kept a keen eye on any possible way it could be a scam. Lo and behold however we got into the park (after I made sure we didn't need the tickets to get on the rides - Nic) and gave the man $60 each rather than the $90 it would have cost us. Score. While we couldn't get fastpasses, it really didn't matter as the park was practically empty, and the longest queue we had all day was 20 minutes, with most being 0-5. We had a great time, met the princesses (I met Belle! - Abi) and Minnie and Mickey mouse and then at the end of the day we sat down and watched the fireworks which were a real highlight as they were very well  timed with the music and quite spectacular. All in all a good day, but we didn't get back to the campsite untill about midnight, making it an 18 hour day, and we were shattered. Tomorrow we get to do it all over again for Universal Studio's! yeeeey.....
