This was our first trip into a major city, and it was going pretty well. At $14 per night at the campsite, $7 for parking at the trainstation and $4 each return to get into and out of boston, we did very well. We headed in and got off at the start of the 'Freedom Trail' which takes you on a tour of boston and points out all the famous sites surrounding the beginning of the American Revolution. We didn't go into the museums but we did get to tour the USS Constitution which was really cool. After that we carried on up the trail which ended at Bunker Hill which is a big Pillar on a hill. After that we headed back into the centre of boston and found this very rustic italian restaurant and had lunch, which was awesome (even with the tomatoey sauce - Ben). After that we headed back towards Central park and realised we were close to the Original 'Cheers' Bar which was worth a look. We got our picture taken next to it then got back on the train and headed back to Braintree. It had been a long day of walking a lot so we were all rather tired. I am now sitting in a MacDonalds WITHOUT WIFI! Blasphemy. We travel 2000 miles through back country and every MacD's till now has had it. Deary me.
