So again we set of reasonably early (9:30 ha) and headed back onto the road. It was only a short trip to boston however we made a small detour to portsmouth so we could make a quick stop in Maine. We filled up, got a photo of the Maine sign and then got back on the road to boston. We arrived at the campsite at about 2 and set up, then headed into.... Braintree! Yes, Abi was going 'home' we did some shopping, got some steaks for that evening, then headed back to the campsite. Since we needed to make a fire, we got some firewood. However, Nic in his infinate wisdom only got the 1 bag, which was not nearly enough, so we had to go and get more. Abi got the firestarted like a pro then started cooking steak, potatoes and corn. It took some time but it was delicious, then we had smores to round it all off. We had an early night so that we could get up and head into Boston early the next day.
