Im now in Playa waiting for the bus to Cancun airport.

The last 3 and half months have been a truly awesome experience. I have had some very memorable moments that I shan't forget and met some great people. Many of whom I plan to keep in touch with. Im hoping to even go visit a few :-p I think I have a healthy collection of friends in the US now to allow me to couch surf my way around and get myself on Texan radio! hehe.

Central America has some great countries and great people. Guatemala has to be one of my favourite especially the west side. Nicaragua comes in a very close second and has to be the most surprising. I didn't know what to expect when I went there but found it to be a great country.

Honduras was also a surprise but not a good one. Some of you will know what I'm talking about, many of you I'm sure I shall inform when I catch up with you. Its a country that seems to have very different values to its surrounding neighbours. Its hard to describe but you feel, as a tourist that you aren't all that safe. Its a poor country with not a large income. Maybe its just a few people who give it a bad rap which is a real shame as I think there are probably some great experiences to be had in Honduras. I would definitely feel more confident if my Spanish was a little better, that way I could at least talk myself out of any dodgy situations.

I still feel there is a lot more to see from Guatemala, Belize and Nicaragua so I can see myself coming back at some point. This time with less luggage, my SLR camera and a few more Spanish lessons under my belt! haha.

This is me signing off my Central America adventure.
Thank you for reading it and I hope you have enjoyed it... so until next time,

Adios  x x :-)
