We stayed in the friendly hill town of Daman for two nights. The town is about 2400 metres above sea level and on a clear day (which we were fortunate to have) itīs possible to see one of the largest panoramic views of the Himalayas in Nepal. On our first evening we went up to the viewing tower and could see a huge section of the range from the Annapurnas to Everest...breathtaking!
The next day we went on a small hike down into the valley and enjoyed some of the local specialities! Ben had a game of football with some kids and we relaxed in the sun until the rain came.
Daman charged our batteries after the epic journey from Darjeeling and we were ready to hit the capital kathmandu.
