The name Dunedin is Celtic for Edinburgh and a statue of Robert Burns stands proudly in the town's octagonal centre. We spent one more night in our tent and then binned it; from now on we're going to get proper rooms, it's too cold otherwise.

We like Dunedin very much. Perhaps it's because of the large student population there is a better vibe here than at Christchurch. We have ditched our backpacks and bought some large orange suitcases to fit more shopping into.

Sightseeing wise, Ben climbed Baldwin Street (the steepest street in the world), we took a tour of the Speights Brewery (gravity fed/batch) and sweetened our taste buds on a visit to the Cadbury factory where we got to see a waterfall of chocolate! Happy days!
