For a city Seoul is pretty clean (well anything beats Delhi!) but we thought we'd get ourselves to somewhere remote and green. We have spent several days roaming around Seoraksan National Park enjoying the mountains, rivers, waterfalls and temples. There is a saying in South Korea that the length of the skirt and the economy are inextricably linked: when the economy is soaring the skirts in fashion are ankle length but when the economy is faltering the tendency is for mini-skirts to appear in vogue. Ben is happy to see the economy stumbling at the moment!
