Sardinia, not croatia but close
till next time guys thats about it.
Ah the blue mediterrian so placid so clear so peaceful... so boring! give me an Australian beach any day. don't get me wrong its great to have a beach with sand but after about 10 minutes I get kind of bored without waves to play in. however the europeans have devised a way to deal with this you can hire little bat and ball sets to play in the water with and hire paddle boats, deck chairs, umbrellas and some other things that my italian is too poor to work out exactly what they are. However to deal with the boredom I invented my own game, looking all the truely tragic swin suits on the beach. Everything from hot pink classics to white slightly seethrough boy legs and thats just the guys. Thank god the italian stallion had a pair of white speedos on underneth because thats one image I can live without having burned into my brain. Of course I have to apologise to demo for getting his hopes up about the pink speedos, he was taken and delighted in striding through the water with his boy friend. Don't think the ladies get off easily metalic seems to be the full blown catasophe here. every woman from 4 to 184..well you know how old a life of tanning can make you look, is wearing them. Now some of you might be saying hey what happened to croatia? well the ferries from venice were fully booked till the 14th and with the girls needing a beach we made for here instead. Well its the mediterrian and sunny, we're pretty much the only english speaking tourist here, luckly Helen speaks some italian so its close enough to croatia. The only downside was the ferry ride, overnight, 10 hours and only seats were bar style ones. The others apperently knew this and everyone was inflating mattresses. It was very funny for the first hour however not quite so when you end up sleeping on the floor with a towel as a pillow but we're all young and it makes a good story. That said though I think we'll get the express ferry back.
