Where I stayed
Point Quobba Camp Ground
We left Denham (thank goodness) and stopped at Shell Beach (a beach with 5 metres deep of just sea shells) for a look and then headed towards our next camp stay at Point Quobba, just west of Carnarvan. Another painful trip with the whining kids.
We arrived at about 3.00pm and set up camp for the night. We were right near an awesome beach with rugged rocky points with a visable reef barrier which the huge waves crashed against causing the water to shoot meters in the air. It was an awesome sight.
Mark was excited to once again get the fire going and had a very keen audience. The breeze from the ocean didn't help matters though with the smoke from the fire causing me to get very sore eyes...
An amazing place.
