Arrived in Swan Hill after 5 hours on the road...a bit ambitious for the first leg of our trip, especially after a hectic lead up to our departure.  Needless to say our first day was very tiring.  To top the day off it started to rain about an hour after we arrived and we were stuck in the van for pretty much the remainder of the evening.

 

We did get about an hours reprieve from the rain and took the kids out on their bikes.  Benjamin had a ball riding through the puddles in bare feet.

The rest of the night was spent indoors dealing with some very overtired and irritable children.  Finally peace came at around 9.00pm when the kids fell asleep.  Mark and I hit the sack shortly after.

Didn't see any sights of Swan Hill although we did drive past the Giant Cod.
