Day 11
Last night we went out to eat at this really cool resturant called El Avion.  Which had a real plane in the middle. It was a plane that was shot down over Nicaragua, and the owners purchased it for 3000$ and brought it to Costa Rica to use in their resturant.  The food was really good, and like most of the resturants here it only had a floor and a roof.  Later we hung out on the hammock terrace before going to bed.  We had to be ready by 830 this morning, but our driver was early, for once.  So he ended up having to wait a few minutes on us.  Mainly because Katherine was in the bathroom, pooping.  For the second time in like 10 days, mainly thanks to Phillips Milk of Magnesia.  So after we finally got ready we headed off to Oceans Unlimited for a half day of snorkling.  It was alot different than I thought it was going to be.  First wearing a lifejacket was optional, but most people chose to wear one anyways.  And the water wasn't crystal clear so you had very limited visibility.  Our first place we snorkled was off of these two huge rocks and we could swim up close to them to see fish, but we really didn't see many in that place.  After that we went around trying to find dolphins, but we weren't really successful.  And we ended up having to take one woman back because she got really bad sea sick.  One thing we learned today is that somewhere near Manuel Antonio there used to be a volcano, because there are random places off the beach where there are lava rocks and lava rock islands.  The next place we went to was only about 5 feet deep and there were several schools of fish swimming around waiting for snorklers.  The fishes there were crazy and you could reach out and touch them.  One of the schools was a group of yellow fishes with black stripes, I think they were salled Sergent Fishes. The reason they hang out by the rocks is because they know that the snorklers will feed them crackers. Which is crazy to watch because they will attack the crackers like priannahs.  After snorkling we came back to the hostel and took showers and Katherine is napping until we go out for dinner.  We might just head back down the the MA beach area where the vendors are to buy some cheap stuff.
