Day 8
Today we got up before 6am, mainly because the sun comes up so freaking early and with huge windows its hard to keep the light out.  But we also had to be ready by 645 to take a taxi to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.  So we got up there and found out since we didn't have reservations we could only walk through by ourselves, which we really didn't want to do in a dense scary forest.  However, the guy said he would try and put us with another group.  After waiting around for about 45 minutes to an hour and finding out that the tour was 3 to 3.5 hours long, and we only thought that it was going to be 1 hour.  We decided that it wasn't what we wanted to do, and asked to call a taxi back.  After this lady gave us a huge lecture on how only 2% of the world had cloud forests and that there are over 500 spieces of birds and all this other stuff, she didn't understand why we didn't want to go through anymore.  So we headed back into town and decided we wanted to do the SKY tram, but we had to wait a little bit so we went to a little local bakery for breakfast, where we ran into the girls from Portland, Allie and Amanda.  So we hung out with them before going on the tram.  We thought the tram was a 45 minute ride along the canopy, but no it was a rip off.  We basically paid 40 to ride this tram, after waiting over an hour, for 15 minutes to the top of a hill and back down.  Which is also the tram that you ride if you do the canopy tour with SKY Adventures.  So we could have paid 12 more to do the zip line too.  Then what made it even worse is that we had to wait another hour to take the bus back into town.  However, we did run into the Saling Family and hung out with them for a while.  The only cool thing about the whole trip was that we got to see this animal that is in the same group as raccoons.  We then went to the Serphentario, which is a snake/reptile exhibit. Which was pretty cool becasue we got to see alot of the snakes that live in Costa Rica.  Katherine even held a baby boa that was only 2 weeks old.  And we got to see a Rhino Beetle that was as big as a small bird.  After that we were really hungry so we asked one of the guys at the Serphentario where to eat and he recommmed Morpho, which we had already considered.  There we ran into the Sailing family again.  So Brittany and Emily hung out with us in town for a little bit and we went to all the gift shops, again. We ended up coming back to take a nap and the Sailing Family went on the night tour.  Now we are waiting to hear from them because we are all planning on going out to eat together.
