Day tirpping across the universe (get that Star Trek theme song going)! We are leaving the warmth of our little cabin in Chattanooga and heading to Atlanta, Georgia. Got up early, for once, and hit the road for our 2 hour drive to Atlanta. Our goal of the day was Stone Mountain.

This private park, which is a mix between campground, nature park and theme park (sounds weird we know), is set on and around Stone Mountain. Stone Mountain is a giant mountain made of stone (surprise!) that you can walk up and on or take the skyrail. We compromised and took the skyrail up and walked down. From up top there are amazing views of Atlanta and the Georgian countryside.

The highlight of the day for us, and the main reason we came, was the Sky Hike adventure course. This is a 3 level, 3 story high ropes adventure course that you climb all over whilst attached to a harness and overhead pulley system. You have to balance on beams and climb on and through ropes all high above the ground. It was a total adrenaline rush, we were amazed by the tiny kids doing it! It took us over an hour to get the whole course done.

Fortunately while we visited the annual Indian Pow-wow was taking place. We saw traditional Indian dance, costumes and tee-pees. It was really cool. From traditional to modern technology we also caught the 4D adventure film inside where the seats move, wind and water fall on you and things touch your legs all to add to the movie. Stone Mountain was an excellent day full of beauty and adventure. We must also quickly note that Bek beat Jesse at mini golf, there is a first time for everything!

The ride home was also full of adventure, peak hour traffic Atlanta style. Eight lanes of traffic both sides of the road, bumper to bumper. It took us 25 minutes to go 8 miles, riveting!

We hope you are all well and avoiding peak hour traffic. Love and Peace to you all, the adrenaline high, Bek and Jesse Train.
