Since my return to the U.S. I have had a lot of time to reflect on my year abroad. I find it difficult to draw a conclusion or some one piece of knowledge from this experience. Equally difficult is to pinpoint the changes I went through during this time. Instead of trying to sum up everything I saw and heard and did, all the people I met, all the food I ate, all the water I swam in, all the mountains I climbed... I think it is better to show the pictures and tell the stories so that readers can see for themselves and decide for themselves what one thing was the most important. The experience as a whole was the one most important experience. I can't break it down more than that.
