I did like Byron but I think just after the festival and being Anzac Day so a lot of drunk Australians it will be better to come back to another time. Definitely tough if I could find a job there I would be happy to stay.
We got to Byron and it was packed! We stayed 1st at a place called arts factory and it was so busy with people after the festival. it seemed like a nice hostel as it was very natural but way too many drunk people. We met up with Renée again (think she was following us...) and we all went out to watch a open mic night that night. That nights sleep was one of the the worst I have had yet.. We were in a thing called a wagon which was some sort of big tent/teepee type thing. The cover we had was more of a curtain than a duve. It felt like I was sleeping outside white it was snowing with just a curtain for cover. Then I kept getting woken up by noises from something that sounded like a cat outside and then bats flying into the roof... I got up early and came out the tent to find a bush turkey walking around outside the door and a load of water dragons basking in the sun. We got up early to go to a farmers market which turned out to be a lot like the one in forest row but with lots of weird fruit. That day we went down to the beach again as it was nice and hot. The beach was good but choppy big waves so got knocked around a bit in the water. That night we tried tried to get to the top of the lighthouse which was on a big hill to see the sunset but unfortunately we had left it too late to leave the beach so we didn't see it from the top but went one the beach and watched it from there.
