At the airport, Lydia is still anxious about the fact that we just quit our jobs, and are backpacking South America for 5 months instead of immediately looking for work. Kendra thinks she is in early retirement and has no worries about her newfound homelessness. She buys airport food just because she doesn't want to get hungry later. Lydia, of course, steals the delicious Aunty Anne's pretzel and noms it before Kendra even notices it's gone. The butter from the pretzel slows Lydia's heart rate and she is able to "relax" and sit through the flights.
