The weather was not great today, it's overcast and showery, but hey ho it’s the first bad day we’ve had since travelling. So as the weather was horrendous, we decided to have a very lazy morning and washed some of our clothes (first time we’ve done so on the trip!). We stayed at the hostel all morning and ended up having a sandwich there for lunch.

Afternoon came and we thought we better way get out of the hostel and do something. So we headed down to the old town of Prague. Here we walked over the famous pedestrian-only St. Charles Bridge, full of little stalls with people trying to sell tac. We also saw the fancy astronomical clock, which was apparently built all the way back in 1410, oldest astronomical clock in the world that’s still working, pretty impressive, it looks decent too.

So after exploring the old town we headed back to our hostel. But on the way back we stopped at this bar to buy tickets (in the form of tshirts) for the Prague bar crawl that everyone goes on about. Tickets were only 25 euros, but this included entry into all the bars and clubs, free drinks for the first hour and your tshirt, not too shabby. So once back at the hostel we got ready for the night out. The Belgian’s who shared our dorm were also going on the same bar crawl so we went over to the first bar with them. All in all it was a top, top night, ending in the 5-storey club in Prague. Highly recommend this bar crawl, class way to meet a lot of people and a great laugh!
