It was Laura's birthday on 5th December so today we decided to celebrate her 'official' birthday (she is like the Queen!) Today we headed to Gatorland! A park for alligators, crocodiles, parrots and a petting zoo. We booked a zip wire experience over the gators and crocs. This was awesome, our first real vacation day and a brilliant way to spend a morning. We were there with Chip and Carol, it was Chip's actual birthday and he was very reluctant to reveal his age. I was the first on each zip line so I was able the test it for everyone else! We got some fantastic pictures of us sailing over the tree tops. Laura and I raced on the last zip wire and I won dinner as I came first! We then saw some 'gator wrestling' and a lovely young lad from London called William came down to help, he was very up for it and took his shoes off but didn't realise the trainer was jockey with him. Following a lovely lunch of chicken and chips (gator was on the menu!) we wandered round the swamp then headed back to the hotel for a 'disco nap'. This evening we were not going to a disco, we were going to Disney!

We hopped in a taxi to the Disney then found the monorail. As we approached the Magic Kingdom I felt like I was 12 again (went to Disney on a family holiday) I got all giddy and excited. Laura and I collected our tickets and headed in, we were given wrist bands so we looked like we had been to Micky's Christmas Hospital! It was beautiful, fake snow and a little colder than the previous few nights. Our first stop was Space Mountain! This was just as good as I remember, I found myself at the front which was awesome and super scary. I think the most terrifying thing was that I nearly lost my bag! We then went on to the Little Mermaid ride which was initially out of order but we later got on it! The free hot chocolate and cookies kept us going all evening there were lots of stations you could pop into. 'It's a Small World' ride was of course a must as we enjoyed guessing all the nations of the world. The fireworks came next with an incredible display lots of ooooohs and aaaaahs! There was also Micky's Christmas stage show which we thoroughly enjoyed, signing and dancing along to! It was great that we didn't have anyone else with us as I'm sure we would have embarrassed them! The parade was a highlight as you can see from the pictures.

Following a very exciting day Laura and I headed back and were in bed for 1:30am.
