Ola. Here we are in Brazil, approx 4 days before our scheduled departure for Paris. Are we excited? I think so...how awesome, to travel Europe with your best friend, on next to no money, with matching bags from Sam's club that were on sale for 24 reais, with a rail pass and a student card and a whole lot of brand new underwear. This blog isnt just about underwear. We just got a whole bunch of new ones for our trip, which is very exci....ok I guess I have said enough about that..
Well anyway, we have almost everything we need. I mean, the actual e-ticket still hasn't arrived, but we are not alarmed. It's all good!! We have just discovered something slightly alarming, however; the temperature in Paris was 13 degrees celsius yesterday, and I only own one sweater. We might have to do something about that.
4 days to go. Oh yeah!
Update:18 hours to go.
Can I just say that we had everything packed. EVERYTHING PACKED, and now Andy has decided that her bag is too heavy and that it needs to be repacked, (which is fine) and she is removing clothes from said bag, but it's not THAT HEAVY.....well I'm off to repack my bag *sigh*
I am not saying anything else because I am probably going to eat my words. But I travelled before with a bag the size of a small country and it was quite bad, this bag is considerably smaller and lighter and I really dont have a problem with it's weight, but I guess we should have the same kind of bag weight so off I go.
It begins...
