Last Sunday, Rebecca, Beth, our two new Japanese friends Hayato and Nobu, and I took a trip to the Munda Wanga Environmental Park in Lusaka. It has gardens and a small zoo, where they rehabilitate animals so that they can eventually be reintroduced into their natural habitat. It was great to get out of the dusty city centre for a few hours, although the park and gardens were looking a little parched as well - it is the dry season, after all.
