Tupiza was a fleeting visit. With only one day in the small town we walked up to the Jesus statue (quite a few SA towns/cities have Jesus statues overlooking them, we are waitig for the big daddy in Rio de Janiero) with our friends Seth and Ollie. According to Lonely Planet and some locals there is a canyon near the town with beautiful waterfalls. So we left Jesus to do what he does best, look majestic, and followed a map to find the canyon. 3 hours later and asking 4 different locals who all pointed in different directions we still hadnīt found the canyon. We gave up and retreated to our hostel to get ready for our early bus across the border into Argentina.

Looking back on our time in Bolivia we had a fantastic time. It reminded us of India in some ways with how crazy it was, the poverty and bad food giving us upset stomachs. It was hard at some times with the altitude and cold, but it provided us with so many amazing things t do like death road and the pampas jungle tour.

Adios Bolivia, Hola Argentina!
