Santiago is a lovely place... from what we saw of it. After arriving from a relaxing time in Valparasio, wewanted to head out to the nightlife of BellaVista everyone spoke so highly of. We met some like minded people in our hostel and after a few beers in our lounge we headed out into the pouring rain in search of music and the famous ´pisco´ - a brandy liquor that was supposedly very potent.
Goals achieved, and 2 pisco sours later mike and I were feeling rather light headed, so decided to head home.
We awoke the next day, feeling like a truck had ran us over, reversed, and hit us again. I poceeded to throw up 4 times, whislt Mike lay in bed, nursing a head that felt like a tonne of bricks. We ventured into town, only having to turn back an hour later, waves of nausea and intense head pain strainking us down. We slept for the rest of the day/night, until our alarm woke us at 4am for our nextflight out of Chile and into Peru.
