Arriving in Delhi at 6am is something we would recommend to no one. although terrified (mainly becca - mike was very brave) we climbed into our taxi - which would not have come close to passing an MOT in the UK - and set off through the streets of Delhi. As we were both praying the taxi would not stop, it did, deep in the grimey streets of Parhaganj.

We had lain in our room for an hour when mike exclaimed 'prisons in the UK are nicer than this.'

We awoke the next day with the heady intention of exploring the city. But were forced to retreat back to our room after only 5 minutes, faced with the onslaught of unrelenting rickshaw drivers, beggars, shop salesmen and general weird men.

As the day progressed, despite being followed on a couple of occasions we came fond of the allies of Parhaganj and all the had to offer.

We met Jodie and Emily for a couple of days, during which we visited the death place of Ghandi and the Red Fort, both of which were breath taking.

As Jodie and Emily left for Agra we hopped onto our first train to Jaipur.
