Well, sadly we have finally lost our camera.   can't believe after 18months of travel its finally happened.  Not to worry though, all pics saved - but at home. So for the time being at least, will just update with news.

So Christmas was spent back in Maroochydore, with Val, Al and Matt and various other, "homeless" back packers.  Absolutely fabulous day had by all.

Mission of the day - cook traditional roast dinner for 30 backpackers! All went without a hitch - thankfully.  A lovely walk on the beach in the afternoon, games all for the rest of the evening and finishing of the night sitting on the beach with a mate and a bottle of wine. Couldn't be much better!

So a final sad goodbye to Val, the boys and the backpackers.  More than a few tears shed I can admit!  If I could stay anywhere, Maroochydore would be a fine place to stay!(i'm I keep saying that!)

But onwards and homewards.  Next stop Darwin for NYE.  ??
