Gaeilge
Does anyone know what Gaeilge is? It is a language, a not so beautiful language of Ireland! Why the hell is it call gaelige when Ireland speaks English or it can be called somthing easier like "Irish"? As part of my teaching cousre, I have to attend 4 hours of Gaelige in order to understand what a beginner learner feels and what a good language teacher is....It is not an easy language and defintely not a poopular one, according my Irish friend John!
My 1st Teaching Class
Teacher Ip is finally in action today! I taught a class of Czech students! I'm not gonna bore you with the technical aspect of irregular past tense. hehe...... It was my first close encounter with Czech people and it was great. Usually you usualy walk out of the class thinking you can do better. I think the same too, but I am quite pleased with my performance today overall. There were minor hiccups and confusion but everything was under control. I hope they enjoyed the BINGO game... :)
I am espcially glad when I walked round the class, they were not afraid to ask me questions. David (my course director) said it's because they trusted me. Yea! Not a bad start afterall.....
*It was Jan's 25th birthday and we went out for dinner....*
