I have been looking forward to visiit Vienna. It is the only city I plan exactly what I want to do and visit. I have done much research before I came here. I took a 3 hours train ride from Budapest....and here I am, in Vienna at 6pm. I quickly checked in the pension, took a shower and I headed out to the city.

I was walking towards the direction of the biggest catedral in Austria and I happened to walk this culture/ food/ drink festival. about 50 tents/ stores were set up....I simply love it, seeing the Austrians enjoying their wine, beer and food.... there were musicians playing life music from tent to tent. I was actually not sure what festival it was but it was the last day, so anyway...I walked from stall to stall hoping to see the local food and beer/ wine... People were looking at me as if i were an alien, as I walked past them. Eventually I settled down at a beer store and had a beer (obviously), where I met 3 Austrians (George, Otti and Mike). They are firemens working just the buildling next to the sqaure. I can't help but to comment that Austrian boys are quite cute and handsome... :)

Anyone who is coming to Vienna, please visit this cafe/ restaurant called Zoulf Apostelkeller (www.zwolf-apostelkeller.at). It is not easy to find however. It is at the basement and the stonework of its lower cellar dates from around 1100. It features ashlars typical of solidyly built, elegan Romanesque decoration. Added later was the Gothic well-house with figurative decorations, the only one still exisiting in Vienna. There was live music (when I meantion live music, I mean not guitar and drums playing Black Eyed Peas, but violin and cello playing Schubert...)... :)

I am in love with Vienna!
