Kumasi a distant memory fading fast, we're heading to the Boti Waterfalls for a bit of nature. It's been an ongoing joke since guinea as part the "road of death" was supposed to have taken us to waterfalls. The GPS is back in action but it seems to favour the long way...

So, we're always double checking time and distance, not sure why because it's usually rather useless...time and distance doesn't mean much in this part of the world. Anything with a 2 could be 2km, 20km or 200km... Oh and don't worry it's just over there!

We finally arrive and it's not exactly touristy but also definitely not geared up for it, we're shown a room which is flooded an the bedding hasn't quite arrive yet, we opt for pitching out tents. Ahhh back amongst it!

We met a Canadian and American couple with there guide Kofi and had a few beers and exchanged stories. The Canadian guy is working in forestry, they're taking trees out of the Volta lakes that have been underwater for nearly 50 years and using the timber! Ok fact fans I was pretty amazed by that!

We had Baku (traditional ghanaian dish) for dinner. It's smoked fish in a soup with maize / pap. Rather tasty but then I'm starving!

It's dark so a walk to falls in the morning me thinks.
