So my philosophy of take a brand new state of the art bike on a ride through Africa means you will have less mechanical hassle and more time for RNR has blown up in my face! The 20 year old Africa twin and the BMW 650 with 50 000km on the clock stand are being held back!

Darius cracks on and head into the sahara as he still needs visas. Adrian stays with me and he's been great but is equally frustrated by furthe delays! Over two weeks and we haven't left morocco!

After a few phone calls, texts and desperately trying to get on line (only downs side to the break downs spot, no signal and no wifi) I finally get hold of James Rix in london. Great guys who went out of his way to help. A group diagnosis over the phone of a failed clutch slave and we decide to ship parts to agadir 200km away and I will go and collect them.

Lots of co ordinating throughout the day and we find out the parts will arrive on Monday only! Aaaarrrrrrggghhhh!!!!! Another 5 days of waiting f#*^%25!!!!!

We ended up going for a walk in the beach...it could be worse!

Later on we meet 2 maroccan lads, Ali and Mohammed. They love bikes and are keen to help, a few phone calls later and they source a part in Casablanca...500km away!

We meet them for dinner and they take us to a local fish market, amazing food again and they treated us! There really are amazing people out there! They invite us to the beach the next day (why not, we're not going anywhere!) and after a few hours of chatting politics from and Arab perspective we crash!

Let's hope we make progress tomorrow!
