I am living already 5 months in the most unbelievable country in the world, in the country where you can find everything you could never imagine. India is something what is really difficult to describe by words, u can only smell in the air, u can only feel it in your hands, u have to simply experience it.
In the following lines I will try to write down some small pieces of thousands of observations, surprising and shocks which I have passed through and even now, after 5 months I am still experiencing new fascinating moments, one the best moments of my life
I am running my AIESEC internship in Satyam computers services ltd., one of the fastest growing IT drivers in the world. With the turnover more than $ 1 billion and 25 000 employees worldwide this company is positioning itself among the 10 top IT solution providers in the world¡K... ¡§I am here, I am here!!¡¨:) i am repeating for myself sometimes to feel on my lips that¡¦s really true. ¡§Could u believe it?¡¨ I am so much happy for it and each day I thank u to the God for that lucky moment of February 2005 when I finally read the acceptance email at the computer in the office of AIESEC Nitra in Slovakia. I have spent there 3 years of my life, three years of learning, hardworking, laughing and developing my personality in a way I never expected. It¡¦s only 5 months ago when I have been there last time, but sometimes I feel it¡¦s 5 years back when I left that small, constantly messy office which I loved so much.
First of all I have to tell u about this company, because right at the beginning I realized one fundamental thing ¡V ¡§it¡¦s great but at the same time difficult¡¨ You know at the beginning I was surprised how much is this company disorganized, how much¡K. this and this.¡K so many little things shocked me from the first moment, because it didn¡¦t match with my European mind
I just started to read the book from Jack Welch, ex-CEO of General Electrics who lead this corporation for over 20 years. Within first 5 pages I read following lines: ¡§Throughout my 41 years at GE, I¡¦ve had many ups and downs. In the media, I¡¦ve gone from prince to pig and back again. But I¡¦ve put my mind, my heart and my gut into that journey every day of this 41 years I¡¦ve been lucky enough to be a part of GE.¡¨
¡§Upsss, exactly, exactly, Beata, think! If u will not love this company without conditions u will not be happy here.¡¨ That time I decided to apply the principle of unconditional love for this company as well as I did it for AIESEC some years ago. Doesn¡¦t matter what, doesn¡¦t matter what, I will still try to do my best in whatever I will be doing
Thanks to my friend who taught me about unconditional love, love without boundaries and limits, I put all my energy, all my heart and my entire mind into this learning experience in the most disorganized country, in the most disorganized company and in the most disorganized life I could ever live in this world among more than 100 interns from around 50 countries.
As u can see, I am using many superlatives, but if u are part of the world¡¦s largest population in the world like me, if u have a chance to be part of the most dynamic economy development in the earth, if u are experiencing something like walking on the world¡¦s second longest beach at the Christmas day¡K.. if u are pending New Year¡¦s Eve on the sea cost of the in the first state in history of the world where the communistic government have been democratically elected and u have possibility to swim with the dolphins over there¡K. Simply I feel to be the luckiest girl in the world because I have a chance to be a part of thousands and thousands unique things in this unique country and at the same time to contribute to India¡¦s economy progress to become a global leader in next few years. But at the same I am (svedok) of poverty I have never seen anywhere else. With 18 millions street children India has the largest population of beggars and people living on the streets¡K
I see that I can write you about India for hundred pages morefº, but I would like to finish now with one wish.
¡K. I wish that more and more Slovak young people will have an opportunity to experience something like me, even more better.
¡K. I wish that more Slovak people will become ¡§tomorrow¡¦s global leaders.¡¨
¡K. I wish that more Slovak people will excel at the international level
¡K. I just simply wish for all of you who are reading these lines something not only good, but excellent because I know that YOU ARE EXCELLENT!!! So, show it up!!
Good luck, my friends
