We took a trip into Bar Harbour to see this quaint little town. It was very sunny and we had a nice lunch at a restaurant/pub on one of the main streets. I had a haddock sandwich; a version I guess of a burger but with fish. Nice and fresh, very tasty.
We walked around a bit, admiring the nice homes and the waterfront as it is quite pretty. There were a lot of out of state license plates to check out. During our visit to Maine throughout the week we noticed a couple of themes; the two animals featured in their marketing and business names are either moose or bear.
Their other theme is naming their establishment or business "Maine-ly" whatever it might be. We counted no less than 5 on our drive into Bar Harbour.
Sunshine again today! So far not a drop of rain.
