My little Frida. Today I find you in three places in Mexico.  First, your blue studio across a narrow catwalk from Diego's red studio in Coyocoan. Next, your birthplace, the Casa Azul, huge courtyard and beautiful spaces inside highlighting some of your paintings.
Last, but not least, a surprise visit to Xochimilco where Dolores Olmedo housed some of your greatest works including Broken Column which is one of my favourites.
I saw your wheelchair, one of your painted body casts, your name painted on the wall. I saw your little two burner kitchen in your studio. You embody the colours of Mexico and the pain of heartbreak, physical loss and sorrow. Ti amo.
