A must see in Montreal is the Botanical Gardens. There are the indoor greenhouses plus the outdoor ones. It's crazy, I spent most of the day here! There are tree gardens, the first nations garden, roses, water, a chinese and japanese gardens too.
At the 'tree house' - which I actually thought was going to be a tree house but is a info centre with displays etc. Outside they have a large section of bonsai trees and inside they had an art exhibition and all the art was made from paper. I don't know what it was about this paper art but I loved it. Right then and there I decided to be an artist, lol!

I could have spent more time there but had a 6pm massage appt at the hotel and wanted to get back in time to shower - another stinking hot day even with the wee rain shower! After some much needed foot pampering I headed out for dinner. Found this crazy tiki hut that is a chinese buffet. The place was so out there I just had to stay to eat.
I got a table next to the pond and this one turtle just stared at me....not sure if wanted some food? I felt a little bad for the turtles, I don't think those coins can be good for them. The food wasn't bad and boy did I eat lots of it!
