Where I stayed
Okay...I`m current. Hopefully it stays this way. I`m at the HooDoo RV Park north of East Coutlee and South of Drumheller. It`s $20 a night for a campsite and they have WiFi so I`m here with a billion other people with 10 feet of grass and a firepit. I`m totally in overflow so it`s interesting. My neighbours seem nice. Had a guy offer me an axe.... haha, insert funny comment here.....cause I was whacking away at a piece of wood to get kindling.
Not the kind of place I would usually pick but really wanted the internet connection so I could get current. No luck uploading pics, everything is really slow cause of the all the other laptops here! Seriously a big place... I`m screwed if I have to pee cause the bathroom is a looonnng ways...hello shewee....
Was up at 8:30am today to the sound of rain, yes it was pouring! Had a quick shower and said goodbye to Hilda & Ian. Mark was there too so I got to see him.
I left to hijack some wifi then headed out. Made my way to Vulcan and saw the spaceship and the visitors centre. Again, have some funny pics - another time.
Was following the GPS towards Drumheller when I saw a sign for East Coulee which was close to the HooDoo`s so thought I`d head that way and find a place for the night. I headed up on a gravel road - holy crap! Totally took the back way! Other than going 50km - well below the posted 80km and wondering what the hell I was doing, it was pretty cool cause I decended down into the rock formations and came across the Atlas Coal Mine. The tours were booked up so I just wandered and streched my legs. Was cool though. I saw the brochure for this RV park there.
It was about 4pm and I was done driving for the day so stopped here....and voila!
The wifi wasnt working at my site so I`ve been sitting in the office for the past hour updating the blog. Was trying to get the photos to work - forever - but.... hopefully not an ongoing issue.
Time to head back to my site, start a fire, drink some beer and cook up the dogs! Dont be jealous, the mosquitos are vicious!

Land of the big blue sky. Campsite obviously looks better than it was, eh?
A very strategically taken photo
