We went there by sheer chance, because we got a home to stay during the summer. It was a great opportunity to live in a famous city where everyone goes in her/his honeymoon, but we were sharing with Guillermo's family, so it was not as romantic as you can think...
Paris was so nice and plenty of magic that we spent the days walking around and enjoying every square and every street... We tried to live the city as well as we could do it.
We got on the top of the Tour Eiffel and Notre Dame Church, where we had spectacular 360º sights of Paris; went to the two biggest parks, Vincennes and Boulogne, where it is possible to rent a boat and sail in the artificial lakes; and visited "La Cité de la Villette", where we could go to the sciences museum and watch a film in IMAX.
Moreover, we went to Disney Land Paris, experience that was depressing because we were too old for everything there, even the most popular attractions were not enough for us. If we come back as parents, maybe it would have sense.
After our disappointing experience in the land of the children, we spent one whole day in the Land of Guillermo, The Asterix Park! For Bea, it was so tender how Guillermo enjoyed everything there, like a child. The other important thing was that there were a lot of amazing attractions and we got on all of them! So if the funfairs drive you mad and you are an Asterix & Obelix fanatic, it does not matter how old you are because you can enjoy the same.
At last, as we cannot tell every story that happened to us there, we want to say to summarize that our summer was quite entertaining and we could improve our French.
