Having roughed it out on the road to sabang i met some other travellers who were weary of the road and were willing to share a small boat and take the seven hour journey to El-Nido from sabang, the journey was great but at times quite scary being so far of shore in a tiny boat! Anyway we arrived in El -Nido without incidence and this is another small fishing village, but far bigger than sabang with 40,000 residents and the pollution to go with it.
Once you get out in the bay however it is different story coral and limestone atols dot this region and provide for some amazing snorklling and beaches......
