After leaving Bear River, the unusual little village with it's construction of homes and commercial buildings on stilts; allowing it's tides to ebb and flow beneath them; we depart the south shore of N.S. and head for Digby on the Bay of Fundy. 
A word of caution regarding "Hurricane Bill" causes us to travel towards N.B. The Annapolis Valley is spectacular with it's farm and dairy land, huge silos and vineyards.
