Last week I;
Caught a 35 pound White Sea Bass, Shot (spearfished) a 55 pound White Sea Bass and had lunch with Joe Walsh (from the Eagles) after hearing him play Amazing Grace on the acoustic guitar. All on the same day.
Surfed on my stand up paddle board perfect ranch waves a couple of feet overhead. Two good friends and I were the only ones out.
Walked to the Yacht Club and enjoyed a great Mother's Day brunch with great friends and my beautiful wife and son.
Thoroughly enjoyed the fundraiser party for David's school
Took friends for a harbor cruise on our boat.
Saw dolphins from our bed.
Went sailing with friends.
Played the guitar, and learned a new song.
Spent a lot of time with my wife and son.
We have an amazing life and I sometimes think, why are we leaving? How could we possibly leave this easy and wonderful life? Then I remember my favorite quote of all time by Mark Twain;
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that
you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.
Then I know.
