Hi Guys,

Sorry its been so long since i have written! I have been a busy bear! Since my last update, i have spent some time seeing Sydney working and getting a real experience of Australian living, then I went and stayed with a friend in Brisbane, which is North of Sydney and in the next state, Queensland, then onto a place called Airlie Beach and now i am even further north in a really nice quiet town called Port Douglas.

Sydney was great! I was working in an Office and met some really cool people, the good thing about being in an office is you get a feel for a place and not just as if you were on holiday there! so my verdict of Sydney, AWESOME!!! Its a busy city and has a big variety of people and where they come from, in my team at work I had one person from Ireland, another from Tasmania, another from South Africa and a few from England and of course a couple of Aussies!

Nick went scuba diving in Sydney, he got some great pictures with some sharks, I wanted to go but they didnt have a wetsuit in my size, so will have to try again another at another place.

Managed to get to a football game also, we saw Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory, it finished 2-0 to Sydney and they won the league! Great Game!!

When I went to Brisbane we had fun, even climbed another mountain, i could get used to this mountain climbing stuff! There are some pics of the mountain and also me up there with some very pretty waterfalls! Although Nick got caught by a leech, they are slipperly little fellas! There is a picture of that too, he got it off ok and they don't hurt but gotta get them off quick of they get pretty stuck on!

We also went to Sea World, that was great fun seeing all the different animals, Dolphins, Polar Bears, Dugongs and even a big yellow bird!! Ok, that was actually Big Bird, but he was fun too!

Next Stop was Airlie beach, its was a nice beach town and we managed to get a big boat to Hamilton Islands, which is a very tropical island just off the coast of Australia. I was even allowed to captain the boat for a while, with Nick's help as I couldn't reach all the knobs and buttons! I made sure he knew what he was doing though!

Well not too much to add further than that, I will write more soon!

Hope you like all the pictures!

Thank you

Class 2 on

Thank you for sending your pictures to us. We have enjoyed looking at them and our favourite picture was the leech and the shark. Philippa and Joe, Jake, Josh, Lucy, Aaron and Neve were not so sure about the leech! We have enjoyed learning about the Great Barrier reef, Sydney, australian animals and Uluru! We like hearing about what you have been doing in the different countries. Aaron, Joel and Jack loved the picture of you on the bed of nails! Did it hurt? Amy wants to know if the spiders are tickly. Louis was really interested in the martial arts training that you did and Thomas liked the green reindeer! The bug pictures were cool! Josh and Lucy wanted to know if the bugs were tasty? Aaron wants to know if you have seen a black widow spider? When Nick went diving did he see a big crab or a dolphin asks Zach? Joel wants to know if you saw a shark with a baby shark underneath it? Jack is interested to know whether turtles have teeth. Have you seen camels? Nick, Lucy asks what scuba diving is like and Amy asks where did you go scuba diving? Have you found a smaller wet suit yet? Philippa has been looking at her whales and dolphins book and wanted to know if you or Nick have seen a giant squid. Jake asks about whales in Oz and Zach wants to know if you have seen or played a didgeridoo.

Have a nice time
Love from Class 2
