OK - we are in Rome - a city of 3.5 million people. I am completely overwhelmed. So much to see and so little time. Today I spent the day at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Cathedral (the largest recorded in the world). The site of St. Peter's Tomb under the main alter of the church makes you want to cry to see it. There is so much to see here, I can't believe I only have a day at the Vatican. Tomorrow I will venture to Naples and Pompeii on a guided bus tour. Enjoy some of the over 50 photos I took today.
