First of all, I would highly recommend you travel with a senior. Elva has been our little "coupon" across New England. They have senior discounts everywhere - usually just a few dollars, but hotels a little more.
We went to Sturbridge Village today - I wish Paul had been with us when we were here. He would have taken some amazing pictures. We tried our best though. If you want to learn more about it - www.osv.org. It is a full functioning village from the early 1800's. Surprised by all the amenities it did have, although considering we were here for 200 years...maybe not. If you ever saw the movie "The Village", you can picture it. Very untouched.
Now, regarding the sleep # beds. This hotel had it in our room for no extra, so we figured we would try it out. I just found out that I am a 25 and Elva is messing around with hers still trying to determine it. I thought we had that figured out for her before we left for dinner, but she is determined to find that perfect #. She is so low in her bed it looks like she is sleeping in a bathtub.
