If you're a lover of history, multiple languages being spoken all around, a little better exchange rate to the dollar than the dollar to the euro and the sheer visual majesty of centuries gone by yet still intact and modern conveniences aplenty ... Prague is certainly worth a visit. Heck, I'd love to spend a month here. One day is barely a scratch on the surface of all there is to discover here.

Ever since I went to Portugal, I have had a fascination with cobblestones. The streets in Prague have more cobblestone patterns than I could take pictures of before my phone battery died. It just blows my mind the time it must have taken for all those stones to be set. The city has history dating back to at least the 9th century when the Prague Castle was founded around 880, according to myczechrepublic.com.

. Amazing architecture is literally everywhere you look around you in this city. Castles, old bridges, cathedrals, synagogues, an astronomical clock ... they're all here and have been for a long time.

All cities have those souvenirs that they seem to be known for. From a brief walk around the city, it seems that marionettes and puppets are on the top of that list in Prague.

As of today, one dollar is equal to 17.72 korunas. One koruna is equal to roughly 5 or 6 cents. One dollar is equal to .725 euros. One euro is equal to roughly 24.43 korunas.
