Didn't realise it would take 6 hours to do the round trip in and out of NYC. It left little time for sightseeing, although I did walk through Times Square and passed the Chrysler Building, caught a train through the Bronx and Harlem (places to avoid). Anyway, I met the staff at Cross Cultural Solutions (this is the Company who organised my volunteer work to Thailand) and it was well worth the journey.
As far as NYC goes, obviously I didn't have time to do it justice. But the NY skyline is awesome, probably one of the best views of a city you could hope to see. And if you are a city lover this place should be high on your agenda.
Good news, when I arrived back at the hotel my luggage was waiting. So I guess I'll pick the RV tomorrow and be on my way to Washtington DC (I may bump into George W?)
More to come.

Sounds like you are having a better time now the clothes have arrived. How did the interview go? What route are you going to use 66 and what places are on your list to visit.
