We had breakfast/lunch with Kevin and cute-as-two-buttons daughter Skyler (Sascha is in first grade and was at school). Saw Pamela's new suite for her esthetician business. very nice!
I think that's all I did that day. No wait, we went to visit Erin's friend from Law School Christine, who showed us around her AWESOME house, complete with a full-on speakeasy in the basement. Hard to believe it was all real. A very nice person and a cool visit.
Then we got back to Joanna's to get ready for the drinks party at MUSSO AND FRANK, a bit of old Hollywood which is exactly what I wanted. But that's when the cold kicked in to high gear and I never made it out of bed. :(
Erin and Joanna went to Musso & Frank and seemed to have a good time. Even though Erin had been forewarned about the heavy handed bartender named Ruben (Thanks Tor!), she forgot about it until he poured her a second drink that was humongous. Erin was complimented on drinking her whiskey neat. Ran into a kid from Greenhills. small world.
