Recoleta is a quite centrally located part of BsAs. On a Saturday it hosts a market with hundreds of stalls selling interesting little pieces. On the main squares we watched couples dancing Tango and lots of other performance arts. Later we visited the Cemetery of La Recoleta, in which also Evita is buried. It's a fantastic place, have a look at the photos. After eating a Super Pancho (Hotdog) we set down to watch another street performance.
Later in the night we walked through our neighborhood - San Telmo – to see the Feria de San Telmo on the Plaza Dorrego. In the night the square fills up with people that dance Tango. It’s really fun watching them and enjoying a big Lomo (Steak) and some fine wine afterwards.
With lots of new energy and alcohol in our blood we ordered a taxi and went to experience the famous nightlife in Palermo. It was crowded and expensive. Nothing more. Maybe as a local you would have found a cool place. We didn’t.
