I had a road map, but the road signs were hidden in dense vegetation most of the time, and I would miss them. So I drove with both my map and my silly GPS for Panmure was not a sight I wanted to miss. Diverting the road to find a convenience store for a coca cola was getting my lost but would normally give me a good photo out of the errand. Sometimes, my GPS would lead me right into another potato field; maybe there had been a road there 10 years ago and my maps were old, maybe they were planning a new road and my maps were to ahead of their time.....but I got lost again. My GPS recalculating, telling me to take the next left, while in the middle of a forest; there was a road, but seemed to me like another one of those private driveway. Oh well, I obeyed the GPS and got on it. Drove a good 5 miles, bottle neck once again, every 20 feet telling myself I should turn around before adding spruce branches to my barley-fenders! Logic telling me something should be at the end of this road. so I drove on, narrower and narrower road, then I see compost bin and garbage can..bingo, there is life around! As I drive on, I keep thinking about the poor soul having to drag these garbage can 5 miles to the curb!!!! I turned out to be the poor ass, landing into a very private driveway, within a full blown BBQ party where all men were bare chested........talk about invasion of privacy! I was glad to have my
New Brunswick licenses plates to broadcast I was not an intruder, only one of those stupid tourist!!!
Took a while but I did make it to Panmure, which was absolutely beautiful!
