We left Banff that morning and made our way through the National Park towards Lake Louise. It soon became clear to me that every moment in the Rocky Mountains is a photo opportunity. For every few feet we moved, there would be something amazing to look at. But since this is a road trip, I had to contain myself and my camera a bit, else we would never get anywhere! I quickly learned the skill of taking pictures out the window of the moving truck, though! However, that can be very cold, and I usually had to defrost my fingers for a while afterwards!

On my must-do-list is to spot various animals in Canada -preferably a moose and a bear. Aaron was starting to get used to me suddenly jumping up and down in my seat and pointing at an animal. This one he hadn't even noticed. Along the road walked a huge mountain sheep. Without taking any notice to the traffic, it walked to its destination and then disappeared off the edge!

Our destination for the day was Kelowna. And after several hours of driving/singing along to the radio, we were almost there. We just had one more stop to do, though, the afternoon snack. And what would be more appropriate than Tim Hortons?! Most known for their excellent coffee, but they sure make some good soup too! Not to mention their amazing brownies! Yep, I'm getting addicted already! ;)

Before we went to Aaron's sisters house where we were staying, we drove to an area with a lot of new houses in Kelowna. Apparently that is where all the loaded people live. Man, those houses are incredible! "If I had a million dollars, I'd buy you a house..."

After a long day of driving it was nice to be in a real home and fall asleep in a comfortable bed.
