After spending a few days in Edmonton, it was time for me to see the Worlds largest mall! I am the kind of person who can get lost just about everywhere, so luckily I had the privilege of my own personal guide, Aaron...

Like any other mall there are stores all around, however what makes West Edmonton Mall so different from any other mall has to be the water park, the indoor amusement park, the huge lake with the ship, submarines(they don't work anymore though)and occasional shows by their sea lions(!) and the indoor skating ring! Yep, it is a huge place, the locals don't seem to have a problem finding their way around though; me on the other hand, I would give up immediately if I were on my own!

With a tight grip in Aaron, we strolled around getting a good look at everything. We hadn't brought our swim wear so we only looked at the slides in the water park, however something else stood out too. In a 'corner' of the amusement park is a roller coaster. Not just any roller coaster. I love those things, but as I looked up at the two loops above me, I felt a knot forming in my stomach. As we stood beneath it, I heard a roar as the train made it down the first steep hill and up the next. Aaron tried to convince me that I should try it, but as the train and its screaming passengers rushed through the loops, I was certain I would never go on it; it would probably get its second accident as I was on it! As we walked away the knot in my stomach slowly disappeared.

On our way back we went to see the Legislature. It was freezing cold to walk around, but there is always something special about an old building when it is lighted in the dark. Finally we drove to a high point to catch the Edmonton skyline at night.
This city certainly has many things to offer. I have only mentioned a few. And thanks to my sweet tour guide I didn't get lost at all.
