We had enjoyed the sunny days and warm nights Florida had to offer, however it was time to continue. The initial plan had been to fly to California, but if there is one thing I have learned about travelling, it is that nothing turns out the way you initially planned! I'm always up for being spontaneous, so when Carmella told me it would be cheaper for us to fly to Canada first, I was in! Where is the fun in travelling if you have everything planned out from home?

Aaron and Cortney was supposed to fly home today too, and we even got on the same flight as them. We were flying WestJet.
We entered the aircraft and found 4 different seats nearby each other. WestJet advertises that they never overbook; no kidding! -not even a third of the plane was seated! The plane took off, and we soon realized that this was going to be a special flight! The steward sang as he explained about safety procedures and the captain sounded like he should have chosen a path as a stand-up comedian instead!

Five hours later we landed safely in Calgary, and for once I didn't mind that (all!) the passengers applauded, this had been an interesting and entertaining flight! We all smiled as we left the aircraft, and I was definitely ready to explore a new country...

"Oh yeah, welcome to Calgary!"
