In Bali they are celebrating some spiritual holiday that we still don't understand but we did our part. They make offerings to their Gods out of bamboo and palm leaves and let me tell you, it's not easy. I spent about an hour to make the most simple of offerings that takes them about 2 minutes. Then we got drunk and carried away with our new friends from Ireland and Germany and all pitched in to pray for bigger waves. Awesome! We shared drinking games from round the world... Irish people get drunk and sing and we showed them beer pong... that's right, it's our official drinking game in the states now.
After yet another amazing seafood feast Sunny took us for a walk to a Buddhist temple down the beach that hangs over a cliff full of bats. The temple is actually inside of a cave and about 20 degrees hotter then the rest of the beach.Trippy. It was like the temple of doom from Indiana Jones. As we exited the temple to the beach a rouge wave almost wiped us all out, maybe the Gods were offended that we took drinks in the temple
Cheers!
